As Office Manager for Fortis Law Partners, Chelsea Harrison oversees administrative, financial and managerial functions for the law firm. Excelling in client relations, leadership and management, Chelsea is fast-paced, organized and a team player. She manages the firm’s human resources including day-to-day project management, recruitment, on boarding, coverage and performance reviews. She is also responsible for the firm’s accounting, finance and billing.
Chelsea’s previous law firm experience includes more than three years as an Assistant Firm Administrator/Accountant, where she was responsible for month-end billing, bank reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable, payroll and 401(k) administration, supply ordering/inventory management, financial and operations reporting/budgeting, interviewing and on-boarding staff, and planning/coordinating client marketing events. Prior to that, Chelsea worked as a paralegal for several years.
Prior to entering the legal field, Chelsea worked as Title Manager. She was responsible for monitoring and quality control of all team production. She prepared and reported production to various clients and responded to escalated matters. She also corresponded with non-responsive or discontented HOA, management companies or HOA attorneys. Chelsea assisted in negotiation matters with closing companies and title agents, and prepared and presented departmental presentations internally and with clients.
Chelsea is a member of the Association for Legal Administrators and a certified Notary Public of Colorado. When not overseeing Fortis Law Partners office, she enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, traveling and swimming.
