Connor Slivocka




Connor Slivocka is a member of the corporate law team at Fortis. His practice is focused on assisting clients through mergers & acquisitions, and supporting athletes, sports properties and brands across sponsorship, licensing and compliance. Connor also advises Web3/blockchain companies on a full spectrum of matters (including digital assets, DAOs, and structuring). 

Prior to joining Fortis, Connor worked at a firm in Milwaukee where he provided strategic business and legal advice to growth-focused organizations, Fortune 500 companies, investment funds and privately held companies. 

Connor is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Law School. While there, he served as a Law & Entrepreneurship Clinic Associate, advising start-ups and emerging growth companies on entity selection, business risk and connected executive leadership with service providers in the Madison start-up community.

  • Advised aeronautics and space engineering teaching platform on sale to strategic buyer.

  • Represented CPG Innovations Holdings, LLC during its acquisition of Gibson Athletics, Rage Fitness and Moving Mountains

  • Represented Sun Mountain, Inc., a Colorado-based manufacturer of custom doors, in its sale to Kodiak Building Partners

  • Served as legal counsel to Virtuance, one of the nation’s largest providers of real estate photography and virtual tours in its acquisition by Diakrit, a global leader in real estate marketing.

  • Represented a private equity-backed confectionary goods company in a management buyout via purchase of all the outstanding membership interest of the company.

  • Advised a SaaS company on its $30 million acquisition by a leading private equity firm.

  • Advised a national franchising company and service provider in its multi-million dollar acquisition by a leading private equity firm, whereby our clients received cash and rollover equity in the post-acquisition holding company.

  • Advised Blue Moon Digital, a leading performance marketing, data science, and digital agency, during its acquisition by Keystone Capital Management, L.P.

  • Represented Global Cannabinoids in its proposed merger with EXMceuticals in Canada.
